     "As the rainbow was the sign of the old covenant between God and Man, so is the Holy Eucharist "the new and everlasting covenant" between God and His people.  As the rainbow unites Heaven and earth, so does the Blessed Sacrament unite God with man, Heaven and earth, as God makes His dwelling with His people.  The Blessed Sacrament is a promise and foretaste of Heaven and a fulfilment of that love, which is the greatest love our hearts will ever know."
